Meet Roxana Ledig, MD

Dr. Roxana Ledig is a board-certified internal medicine physician committed to delivering personalized, proactive, and relationship- centered care to the Santa Barbara community. Born in New York and raised in Ventura County, CA, she developed an early appreciation for science and service that shaped her path to medicine.

Dr. Ledig graduated from UCLA in 2013 with an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry. Before beginning medical school, she spent two years in biomedical sciences at Thermo Fisher Scientific, contributing to the development of diagnostic products used in organ transplant testing. She went on to earn her medical degree with Highest Honors from Ross University School of Medicine in 2018. During her training, she participated in the Salybia Mission Project in Dominica and served as Director of the student-run clinic, providing free medical care to underserved village communities.

She completed her clinical rotations at Kern Medical Center in Bakersfield, followed by a three-year Internal Medicine residency at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, finishing in 2022. Her residency experience provided a strong foundation in inpatient medicine and hospital-based care. After residency, Dr. Ledig practiced outpatient primary care at Sansum Clinic for three and a half years, where she developed a deep commitment to preventive care and long-term patient wellness.

Dr. Ledig’s professional interests include preventive medicine, healthy lifestyle, women’s health including menopause care, and proactive management of chronic disease. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine and is a member of the medical staff at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. Dr. Ledig’s goal as a concierge physician is to provide exceptional, compassionate care while building trusted, enduring doctor-patient relationships that support long-term health and well-being.

Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with her husband and young daughter, practicing yoga and pilates, and exploring the outdoors and beaches.
